In search of an adventure, Christina, in her forties, meets up with René and Sandra, a couple seemingly living in harmony. Pale afternoon light falls through the neatly arranged lace curtains onto the three-piece suite. As soon as a conversation is struck up, it peters out again, the silence broken only by the aquarium’s quiet pumping. Only gradually do we find out why these three people have met up at all.
