Bernau. A province town near Berlin. It’s the hottest summer for years, frustration is rife. A dog’s chain tears. Anna is attacked by a guard dog. Bernd bites it into an ear and saves his daughter. Tom, Bernd’s friend and rival, is out for revenge and wants to shoot the dog … By a chain reaction of unforeseeable events, Bernd, his wife, Marianne, and her lover, Tom, become involved with dog-owner Devereux, his daughter, Sandrina, and her friend, Marcel.

Frustration turns into aggression that wanders to and fro until it eventually catches up with Rockabilly Viktor and his „sugar mummy” Regina … The heavens don’t come up with a storm. And then there’s a big bang …
