Lunch in the office canteen is the highlight in Paul’s monotonous daily routine as an office worker. That’s where he meets his colleague, Hans, whose non-stop verbal diarrhoea he bears with stoic resignation. The days in the office pass by uneventfully until one evening, on his daily shopping trip, Paul knocks a glass of gherkins off the shelf. A mishap that very soon turns into a secret passion and that throws Paul life off kilter, revealing the insanity of seemingly ordinary office life.
