The documentary CICERO pays tribute to the exceptional musicians ‘Mr. Golden Hands’ Eugen Cicero and his son Roger Cicero – portraying the highs, the lows and the cracks of their outstanding music careers. Well-known companions and contemporary witnesses create a dense cinematic network and illuminate a genius that reinvented himself repeatedly and, on the other hand, an exceptionally successful and talented singer, who died at the height of his career.

The story presents two remarkable biographies and reveals a unique father-son relationship. CICERO focuses on a unique musical legacy: ingenuity paired with an unparalleled passion that drove the protagonists back on stage time and time again. Overcoming boundaries and pigeonholing shaped the years of their lives – their way of thinking, their actions and their music. Two emotionally profound and closely interwoven life stories with a tragic and moving ending.
