On a beautiful summer’s day, Madame Claire wakes up in a French village – convinced that today is her last day on earth. Claire decides to sell all of her belongings in the garden of her large country home, from valuable clocks to dear antiques and handmade, unique items. With her memories vanishing, Claire doesn’t need any of her beloved furniture or collector’s items anymore – the whole village gets their piece of the cake at this exceptional flea market.

Alarmed by an old friend, Claire’s daughter Marie returns home for the first time in 20 years. But she’s not the only ghost of the past that the excentric lady calls up again. With every memory, Claire encounters not only an echo of her youth and her lovers, but also tragic secrets, unspoken differences and old family dramas, which are brought back to life – on an unsettling journey into the heart of past times.
