Six men in their 30s all share the same name – but is that in itself the basis for friendship? CSL is the acronym for the founding story of the “Christoph Schwarz Lodge” as seen from the director’s perspective who bears the same name. Google buddies who share the same namesake, they help each other professionally and in their private lives, call themselves a lodge, but they aren’t really sure – a men’s club in the 21st century – what does one do there? Fictional elements within the documentary story line put the friendly structure to the test. What is more important: the lodge or a film about the lodge?
