After his separation from his partner Lisa, the Czech artist Jiri has to fight to avoid losing his son Victor. In his desperation, he knows no other way to help himself than to kidnap him. He sells the escape to Victor as an adventure journey in search of a jointly invented story about two little animals on their way to the magic land of Padulim. The little one joins in, but wishes that his mother could also come along. In the end, there is a confrontation in which both parents are challenged to find the best solution for their child.
