Anja is in a rut. Her dissertation and her private life seem to be heading toward a dead end. Her lethargy leads to depression. When her family gathers in Holland for her grandmother’s funeral, Anja escapes to the sea and confronts her loneliness. The intensity of her feelings lead to a new self perception.
