Hayat means “life.” At the age of 20, Hayat is still hanging out on playgrounds in Neuperlach, a Munich suburb. She seems a bit lost, hasn’t really found her place in life yet. But gradually she begins to box her way out of the standstill and the feeling of insignificance. A first boxing competition doesn’t take place uncontrolled on the street as usual, but at a real tournament. Will she also be able to pass the entrance examination for secondary school?
