Comedian Roni Beck has dedicated his life to his art, Serge Grötzer dedicates his to the senior citizens in his care. In his OAP’s home, he picks up poverty-stricken Roni who has found shelter there with his mother. Serge offers him a job as assistant nurse but is far more interested in Roni’s life as a comedian. He takes Roni’s career into hands and Roni, grateful for food and lodging, has to realize that his benefactor is increasingly taking charge of his life …
