In a post-apocalyptic stone desert, Fiona fights against starvation and for survival. A functioning society no longer exits and resources are scarce. When her supplies run out, only one vague hope remains: a supposed paradise promised to her by a mysterious voice on the radio. Mustering her remaining strength, Fiona struggles through the desert, but the hoped-for refuge turns out to be the home of Konsi, a small robot who has built himself a tiny robot paradise in the middle of the desert. He used to be human but copied and transferred his consciousness into the robot.

He offers Fiona the opportunity to transform into a robot as well. Seeing no other way out, she accepts the offer. But just moments before copying herself, she changes her mind and destroys the robot.
