Anna spends a few days with her daughter at a spacious estate on the French Riviera. Amidst her family, friends and the house staff, Anna has to come to terms with her recent separation and write the screenplay for her next film. Behind laughter, fits of rage and secrets, one can sense domination, fears and desires. Everyone shuts out the rumblings of the outside world and must face the mysteries of their own existence.
