The minimalist interviewfilm tells the life of Florence Burnier-Bauer – one of the most disturbing life stories of the 20th century. The documentation of unedited film material consists of two tapes (the first one about her youth and life in general, the second one about her life in the commune), interrupted by short scenes with photos and quotes. The relationship between the filmmaker and the protagonist oscillates between the search for information, protection and solidarity, between voyeurism, empathy and self-expression.
