In matters of Soul music, acquaintances can be like a family, any place can be home. And that’s exactly what Conny’s record shop, “Rillenfieber”, is. The vinyl freak provides himself, his friends and his few customers with relics of the past. True to his philosophy, “The crackling is the soul of music. Take away the crackling and the music vanishes. For good!” What Conny doesn’t tell his friends and refuses to acknowledge himself is that his shop is about to go bust and will be pawned – including all the sacred relics. Was that supposed to be it?
