On the 60th birthday of his father Karl, who brings the family together on a Shabbat, Simon wants to introduce his new girlfriend to his parents. But, as usual, they are busy with their own affairs. As if Simon were his best friend, Karl tells his son that he feels thirty years younger since he started sleeping with Sonja, the new secretary. Simon lets his mother Agnes commit him to transcribing his father’s book so that Karl won’t go on holiday with Sonja. While his parents sunbathe on the nudist beach, Simon begins a seductive cat-and-mouse game with Sonja and becomes more and more entangled in the sticky family web.
