The milliner’s shop Leiter is not only famous for its outstanding creations, but also as a place for great dreams. At least for the young Iris Leiter, who came to Budapest in 1913 to work as a hat maker in the shop which once belonged to her parents and where they died. The current owner, Oskar Brill, turns her down, but Iris isn’t planning on leaving Budapest. With great determination, she goes in search of her past and comes across a secret which not only leads her to a certain Kalman Leiter, but also introduces her to the highest circles of the Austrian-Hungarian society.
