For the film THE UNSPOKEN, we conducted interviews with the last living contemporary witnesses of the Nazi era, focusing on those who were involved at the time, the followers and accomplices of the regime. Almost no one from this generation ever spoke about that time after 1945; in German families, the subject was taboo: the unspoken.
