Hanna and Sophie mean everything to each other. They’ve been best friends forever. Together, they can cope with anything: difficult parents, stress at school, heartache – nothing and no one can interfere with their little world. But then Sophie falls in love with Julius and suddenly everything changes: new people, new places, new rules. Hanna tries to share Sophie’s happiness, but for Sophie, a new, unexpected world opens up, one which she cannot share with Hanna.

While Sophie experiences a deep bond with her first love, Hanna is left alone with the down side of this new passion. She is jealous of Nessa, who has become one of Sophie’s new confidantes, and envious of Julius’ and Sophie’s intimacy. Driven by disappointment and pain, Hanna desperately searches for distraction. But neither her crush on Leon nor excessive partying can replace Sophie. Hanna has to fight for Sophie, for alone, no one can deal with life’s struggles.
