The “Stage outside” Rendezvous featured IL MIO POSTO È QUI / MY PLACE IS HERE, one of the powerful films of the 2024 festival. The gripping story captivated the entire audience. The screening was followed by a very intense discussion moderated by Thorsten Schaumann.

Co-director Daniela Porto, who also wrote the novel on which the story is based, reported in detail on the film’s production and the fascinating historical context of Italy in 1946. The audience in the packed Galeriehaus responded with enthusiastic applause. The move from the open-air stage, necessitated by bad weather, didn’t dampen the film lovers’ high spirits.

As part of “Stage outside”, the Friends of the International Hof Film Festival, in collaboration with Cine Center Hof, present popular festival films as part of the “Filmtage-Rendezvous” series.
