Florent is a new student at a Paris high-school. His English teacher Charles soon realizes that the young boy is a strange loner and, with the help of a friend, who happens to be a policeman, tries to find out more about him. They discover that Charles lives in a huge apartment all by himself and only has telephone contact to his mother. And then they uncover a dramatic event that took place there 15 years ago …
