A hardened streetwise cop and a young female rookie are taking a prisoner back to a small desert town to stand trial. The prisoner is a beautiful young black girl charged with murder. While taking a short cut, they become stranded in the desert. Their only shelter is an old, abandoned shearing shed. Forced to live off the land, a bond grows between the unlikely trio … and the police come to believe their prisoner is innocent. Then they realise that someone, or something, has been following them …
