Vince and Eddi are two hapless young ski instructors who share digs in the basement of the ski school. One is the king of the slope and the life and soul of every après-ski party, the other is a sensitive brooder. Eddi thinks things through, whereas Vince prefers not to think too much at all. For Vince, the valley is his oyster and offers all of life’s necessities: women, sex, and snow. Eddi, on the other hand, wants out.

When Eddie get an offer he simply cannot refuse from the stinking rich eccentric Achenbach – to manage a ski school in Sochi – and Vince takes it upon himself to see to the extracurricular activities of Achenbach’s lovely daughter, an exciting new future opens up to the lads. All seems to be running smoothly, that is, until the unfortunate demise (some say suicide…) of Ms Achenbach’s darling dog. And when all efforts to hide the incriminating remains fail, the carcass ends up as an unwelcome guest at the Achenbachs’s Christmas party. And Eddi and Vince are faced with the problem of having to explain to their bemused hosts the peculiar Austrian winter barbecue habits.
