A country at war. Six-year-old Irina and her mother are forced to flee. The little girl has just lost her father deported by militia men. The only memory she has of him is a magic fountain pen with which she tries to rescue the few things dear to her into her new life. In the night of their flight she has to make a decision on which both their futures will depend.
