Leipzig in the summer, a group of friends in the not so successful indie band INTERGALACTICAL CHEWING GUM, all of them in their mid to late 20s. The noncommittal coolness of youth begins to fade. Almost unnoticed, the course is set: at the university, in love, the beginning of careers – maybe even kids? Between self-inflicted weekly schedules and a cultivated lack of orientation, conflicts arise. Which bonds will remain, which will not? What can be saved and where does one have to start anew? But Wanne, Merle & Co are not giving up their youth without a fight.
