Murphy has always dreamed of being a film director. But now he is at his wit’s end: broke, unemployed and frustrated. A bank robbery is supposed to change everything, but things don’t work out as planned: a shot is fired, and Murphy is on the run. He meets Roswitha and then Sophie, who falls in love with his story. Murphy swipes a camera from the pack of journalists following them and starts to live his dream of being a director. Unfortunately, with a tragic end.
