His name was Schabas Saleh Al-Aziz and he came from Iraq. He was 21 years old, suffered from epilepsy and mental disorders and was found frozen to death in a forest in the former GDR. Some time before his death he had been the subject of heated debates. During a violent incident in a supermarket, Al-Aziz was tied to a tree by four men. These four men appeared to some as heroes, to others as self-styled, racist-driven vigilantes. The film recreates this event in detail in the studio and is based on the codes of television talk shows, action films and staged court hearings.
