For centuries, the wolf has been considered a beast. With its return to the German forests, something threatening is nesting in the increasingly deserted landscapes. Panic also afflicts Ulf Winkler, an unsuccessful real estate agent, when he finds himself trapped in the middle of an abandoned property in Brandenburg by a pack of wolves that gradually turn him into one of them. Soon the question arises whether perhaps he, the human, is the beast after all.
