Betty is a self-obsessed therapist desperately seeking Mr. Right. Naturally, she becomes the perfect self-appointed adviser to Lu-Lu, a beautiful Chinese student looking for a Green-Card marriage and her freedom. One floor below, Marta has her own dreams, while her true love, Frankie, the incompetent crook who lives upstairs, is planning their escape to Paradise – just as soon as he has pulled off the heist of the decade scheduled for this coming Thursday.
Far more desperate is the case of Graham, a gifted stage actor disappointed by love and life. He too dreams of Mr. Right and of a big break into the big screen.
