Paul has everything he could ever want to be happy: a stable job, a beautiful and loving wife who is expecting their first child, and a lot of friends. On his 37th birthday though, within a single day, everything changes. On the mythical grounds of the former Berlin Tempelhof airport, he runs into a mysterious stranger who makes him doubt his life so far and who asks him to “open his ears”. From that moment on, the remainder of the day takes a turn for the unexpected.
