Lara is a selfconfident young German girl. When her family die in a car crash in Rumania, her whole world falls apart. Accompanied by her best friends, she travels to Rumania and is plunged into a world that is absolutely alien and frightening to her – a nightmare. Once there, she and her friends bring to light an international food scandal that Lara’s father was obviously implicated in. And they experience a ghastly adventure in the dark green forests on the edge of the Carpathian Mountains.
