Something’s nearing the end, or perhaps it has reached the end. ‘It’ being the era of the New German Cinema, the authors’ cinema, the cinema of Fassbinder, Herzog, Schlöndorff … But this story – like so many others from this era – has no ending. It lacks an ending! And so here, for the very last time, the dinosaurs of all classes in their very last film. A tribute to Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Wim Wenders, Werner Herzog, Alexander Kluge, but also to all Pasolinis of this world. To snobism, eccentricity and the courage of despair!
