Oskar is a sensitive Physics student. Based on a formula of his own design, he has calculated that he will remain alone all his life. Just as he is about to jump off a bridge, a bartender named Frieda, who is making off with the bar’s revenue from that night, saves him. Frieda badly needs a break. And Oskar is to drive the getaway car. In return, he gets to determine their destination: he wants to see the Northern lights. Their trip to Norway turns into an adventure: Frieda doesn’t have a driver’s license and Oskar is depressed. But the greatest challenge becomes the feelings they gradually develop for one another …
