Fortune has never been generous with Victor Plaza. He was born on one of the darkest days of the Franco regime on a bus taking his mother, a prostitute, to the hospital. A free bus pass for the rest of his life is the closest thing to luck he has known in his twenty years.
None the less, Victor is young, and life has not yet destroyed his trust in people. For example in Elena, only daughter of a diplomat, and the woman with whom he has his first sexual experience. Certain details make him believe that their encounter in the lavatory of a discotheque was more than a casual meeting. When Victor appears at Elena’s, she is anxiously waiting for a drug dealer to arrive. Victor’s appearance doesn’t make things better. Nerves, a gun and two policemen, David and Sancho, complicate everything further …
