Aren’t we all lonely in some sense? And who cares anyway?
Jeff Zang, a private investigator from Miami, does, for example. His dad always warned him: “You will be nothing more than a lousy bum…and alone.”
Wondering if this is true, Jeff zigzags his way through the city, observing the lives of some of our most overlooked citizens: a window cleaner, a banner-pilot, a tollbooth agent, and a drawbridge tender.
Is his life in some way connected to theirs? And is ‘loneliness’, in the end, just a matter of perspective?
