After 45 years, Milan Mihajlović returns to the mountain village in southeastern Bosnia where he comes from. He captures reawakened memories in abstract pictures. He paints an image as large as a movie screen as a blowing sail which then floats to heaven. Dreams and desires are not surreal. With expressive power, “every image that has a soul can sprout wings!”, the artist says.
