Paul is 32 and has been unemployed for a long time. He lives in a small apartment and has just managed to become one of the final candidates in a job selection procedure. He is determined to give it his best shot to get the job. But after overhearing a violent argument between his neighbors Michelle and Sascha one night, his life suddenly goes awry.
