On the edge of Sweden’s highest mountain, the Kebnekaise, are two snow-covered mountain cabins. This is the place where Lars, an older Swedish man, spends the winter alone, looking after the cabins. Secluded in the stormy Swedish valley, he is far away from all obligations and the life he once lead. His voluntary seclusion raises the question of whether true happiness in total isolation is possible.
