Jan is a simple man whose only certainty in life is that he loves his wife and she loves him back. But how much longer can their marriage last when they are sharing a tiny apartment with his tyrannical father? To make matters worse, Jan’s latest investment for his wife’s savings is a drab snack bar in a nowhere part of Oslo and the landlord is threatening to close him down.

Just in time Jan literally stumbles over legendary rock star Iver Mo. Mo’s bound and gagged and could do with a wash, but even a pathetic loser like Jan can spot a gift horse when he sees one.
