It is never too late for young love, and true love knows no (age) limits. Rosa meets Bruno. Two people who thought they had already been edged out suddenly experience what it means to unconditionally follow great happiness. To joyfully accept everything. To love and laugh together. The only downer: Rosa has cancer and only six months to live. All the same they decide to break out: Bruno out of his marriage and a family life which has long since become routine; and Rosa out of the nursing homes where her niece would like to shunt her off to. Together, they move into a new apartment, and the question arises: Does happiness have an expiry date or is it not the memory of very special moments spent with a unique person that matters most?
