Monette is 13-years-old and experiences her first crisis. Not puberty, not the expected fight with her parents, not a broken heart. Monette falls victim to the world economic crisis. She would have never thought the turbulences of the financial markets would reach her own room. Suddenly, the family has less money. Saving is top priority. That means in detail: a smaller apartment, no cleaning lady, no second car. Instead, slammed doors, accusations and a lot of fighting. And it’s always about money.
Monette wants to help. Looking for a source of money, she decides to sell her virginity on the Internet. In doing so she slips into a crisis that will leave the family speechless.
