After a disappointing experience in young love, 16-year-old Mia decides to seek revenge on a random boy and schemes a plan with her older sister Laura. In an Internet chat room, they meet 18-year-old Timo, who is supposed to fall in love with Mia and then be brutally dumped – just like Mia was.

But Timo himself is quite experienced in matters of love and when real feelings start to develop in the girls’ little game, the plan takes on a dangerous dimension. The exercise in emotional cruelty threatens to discharge into physical violence. Ultimately Timo is faced with the same decision as Mia was at the beginning of the story.

The question arises as to how much power the past can exert on the present and whether or not a person always is to free to make his or her own decision.
