Brand (Fire)– a name like a dangerous disease, like a threateningly destructive force. Something which must be extinguised.

Brand is a famous writer. Since his wife has become fatally ill, he has lost his ability to write. He decides to create a photo diary about his wife’s slow demise and, in doing so, meets a young nurse, Angela. She is not just attractive, but also mysterious. Brand gets caught up in a web of obsession and jealousy which quickly spirals out of control. Angela’s Turkish husband, who has the instruments of law and order on his side, gets wind of what’s going on.

When eventually Brand’s wife gets sucked up into the situation and Angela has to escape from her husband, Brand loses control over the situation, which can only end in a fatal climax.
