Éva and her family live in a small village in Hungary. Their 16-year-old child has recently come out as transgender and lives under his self-chosen name Tobi. After overcoming the initial shock, the whole family supports him. But quietly, the idea of losing the girl she raised takes Éva’s breath away. Tobi is determined to become a man biologically, while at the same time struggling with growing up. Éva tries everything to be the mother her son needs, while Tobi questions the boundaries he has set for himself as a transgender man.
