A large French city, in the present time… Pierre Tardieu is a temporary worker. He lives in an old house with his sick father. No one is aware of his existence. Pierre falls in love. The problem: Pierre is a serial killer. His victims are normal individuals. Ordinary people with ordinary lives. Men and women living, working and suffering side by side, never really together, forming crowds lost in big cities.
