The theme park “No Name City” on the outskirts of Vienna was created lovingly as a replica of the Wild West we know from innumberable films. A small Western town complete with saloon bar, hotel and sheriff’s office, set within perfect natural surroundings. The film takes a look behind the scene and discovers a group of people who organise this park, apparently autonomously. Some do it for fanatical love of the Western, others out of sheer financial necessity. They’re all united by their desire to keep the “town”, as they call the park, alive. But the fact that a sense of warmth and security is illusory is borne out once more.
